Selection Philosophy & Process

The philosophy motivating WSI’s breeding program is an emphasis on athleticism, horse welfare, and the importance of helping breeders understand the athletic potential in their mares, their foals, and in WSI Approved and Recognised Stallions.

WSI offers inspections of stallions and mares and foals. And upon request our skilled inspectors can evaluate your youngsters to help you decide if you’re on the right track in your breeding program, and if you have a stallion prospect. Our inspectors can also give you stallion suggestions to help you breed the best foals out of your mares.
